Up & Coming filmed a TV report about gay rights in Spain in 2009 for the programme “Action” of the European Parliament’s TV station.
As this report shows, Spain is now considered by some as the most progressive EU country for gay rights.
We interviewed organizations and citizens during the Gay Parade 2009.
The report had much success, including being featured on the website of the Spanish Socialist Party, and Up & Coming was invited in October 2009 to speak at the international conference Families in Europe Today on toleranceorganized by the European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC) at the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), Brussels.
