In 2012, Up & Coming filmed a TV report in Sweden about education for the TV programme “Learning Worlds” on the international television cannel Euronews.
This report shows a system based on school vouchers. Students and their parents can choose which school the pupil will attend. The system was designed in order to improve equal opportunities.
For this report, we interviewed the director of the most popular international school among the country’s private education centres.
This was not the first time we went to Sweden to film. Up & Coming has made three different TV reports in this nordic country. In 2007, we filmed the Microsoft Innovative Schools Program, where teachers can share ideas and educational practices worldwide.
